Unite is an independent clothing company based in New South Wales, Australia. Founded in 2004 by former professional bodyboarder Joel Taylor, Unite aims to make a statement, as well as unique and quality products that people are proud to wear.
"Regardless of what path you choose, it is most important that you are leading an enjoyable existence," Joel commented. "Life should be fun, not about how much money or fame it's gonna bring you." Unite. not 4 fame. nor fortune. 4 FUN!
Unite supports the sport of bodyboarding through as many means possible. "Bodyboarding is in my blood," says Joel. "The sport has played a major role in who I am, in my identity, so it's a given that Unite is gonna give back to bodyboarding."
From World Champions to young, up-and-coming amateurs, Unite boasts one of the strongest and most diverse teams in world bodyboarding. The 2008 Unite Team is two times World Champion Damian King, Michael Novy, Nick Ormerod, Winston McCall, Tom Smith, and Mitch Woodland.
